Here at Habitat we’re a team of design engineers who love building for ourselves, and saw an opportunity to use automation to streamline the build and design process of van conversions. We wanted to use our experience to design a range of camping modules and van conversion kits that would give anyone the ability to put together a well thought out, quality and cost effective van build. At Habitat we design modular, easy to install, van conversion kits for Ford Transit, that enable you to transform your vehicle into a functional and stylish home on wheels. These kits are flat packed and made according to your design and colour specifications. With a quick turn around, you can be installing your own van conversion kit in a fraction of the time it would take most van builders to complete a van, allowing you to get on the road that much sooner.
Based on 3D data straight from the manufacturer, we design each piece of our kit to precision fit the exact dimensions of the Ford Transit. From CAD and the initial designs through to production, all of our marine grade, baltic birch furniture is made here, in house, in the mountains of British Columbia.
We also have a variety of drop in modules and individual items for smaller vans including Delica and Hiace, and for Sprinter, available in our online store. We are constantly expanding our offerings and look forward to sharing new products soon.
